Was I just seeing things?

This happened years ago when I was around 8 years old. My family moved to a new house and the house was pretty old (built in the 1950s) the house looked dark and felt quite eerie. The ceilings were quite high and the doors were also really tall with the door knobs being high up as well. One thing that really stood out to me was the amount of dead birds around the house and random bones. However, I just thought it may have been because the previous tenants had dogs. The house had a massive backyard with three dingy and old steel sheds and three fruit trees. As soon as we moved in I always had this weird feeling that something wasn’t quite right. And the thing that still gets me is that I’d always see these tall shadow figures almost like black silhouettes of people they seemed like men. There were no specific characteristic or trait they were just black shadows and they’re always walk were quite tall I’d say around 6 foot or maybe a little more so not outrageously tall but still quite tall. They would always walk between the short hallway from my room to the kitchen and I always remember seeing them but I don’t remember being scared. Fast forward a couple years and I totally forgot about all of that and we had already lived there for quite some time and nothing bad ever happened apart from maybe one paranormal incident. Anyways one day my sister who is younger than me randomly admitted to seeing the black shadow people unprompted and I also confessed to seeing them too. I know what I saw was real and not just me seeing things because my sister saw them too. Has anyone ever had a similar experience? We’ve since moved out of the house and I stopped seeing the shadow people maybe a years after we moved in.
