Potty training - when and how did poop click for your kid?

I've been potty training almost 3 year old twins. It has been a rollercoaster but generally speaking we are getting somewhere. However poo is still an issue at daycare. They do great with pee despite the policy being pullups for now. Poo... Is just not happening. It's like they don't quite recognise the feeling. Which I understand. There's also not as many opportunities to practice.

It has been a week so we aren't so far into it, but is there anything I should be doing to support them? I feel a little lost.
