Benefits of D.Eng?

Thinking about getting a D.Eng to pursue higher comp roles (Data Science/Engineering). Has anyone experienced or seen a D.Eng used effectively to land a higher comp position? Does it add to your YoE on the LCAT like a Masters sometimes does? Are they more commonly employed by the large primes or the smaller boutiques?
