Burial Chamber Loot

I’m a returning player, starting in a fresh world in 1.0 after 1500+ hours in early access.

I’m used to finding minimum 2, sometimes up to 10 surtling cores per burial chamber. In this new world, the most I’ve found in one chamber is 4, all the others have been 1 or 2. Lots of chambers around, but far fewer cores in each.

Do chambers have fewer cores than they used to? Is this typical or am I just having bad luck?
