I have a Hisense 75U8QG & their Sound Bar AX5140Q (both new in the last week). Decided to get a 4K disk player (Sony UBP-X700U). I honestly love the TV speakers in solo mode (85 watts with 2 small subwoofers. Hi-concerto uses all in the the TV plus the Hisense sound bar Model AX5140Q has:

Video Pass-through 2160 (4K)

Wireless Subwoofer (powered)

Number of Tweeters 3 speakers

Number of Midranges 9 speakers

Wireless rear channel

Number of Woofers 1

We got "Blade Runner 2049" 4K on sale and I tried the Hi-concerto mode for the with the Sony player. Blade Runner has a Dolby Atmos soundtrack.

You have to try this! The bland 5.1 sound on streaming platforms is nothing compared to this. If you are only streaming, they don't have lossless audio. I know some think the Hi-Concerto mode is a gimmick. I get it. You are on Prime video or Netflix.

My problem was that somewhere I was missing a piece of the puzzle: lossless audio. I think Hisense sells these components very economically for handling these large audio tracks. No one buys disks anymore, this subscription model is never going to take audio to the next level.

To the skeptics: get out ALL the right components listed here (TV model varies) and put them in play: team Hisense (it uses the full power of TV speakers with the soundbar bar) and go into audio output on your TV by clicking on Hi-concerto.

Next, put in blu-ray or 4K movie with Dolby Atmos logo. I recommend a 4K player (either Panasonic or Sony) tho. You don't need to crank up the volume (it has too much already) and kick back. I would also say don't put your soundbar under a shelf, it was designed to bounce the waves off your ceiling and walls. Bury it in a cabinet and you will never hear what the system can do.

Any challengers?
