My last job overpaid me for the last 3 years that I was employed with them and I never told them about it.
At my last promotion I received a letter stating what my new job title would be along with my new salary. Upon receiving my 1st new payslip I noticed that the gross amount was about 5% higher more than what the letter stated (roughly USD75 higher based on today's exchange rates. I don't live in the US). Might not seem like much but where I live that's almost minimum wage for a week and more than covered my gas bill for the month considering I only lived about 5 miles away from my job.
I assumed that they would have noticed it and corrected it for the following month or at least told me about it and asked for the difference back but they never did. I kept quiet about it and they continued to pay me for the next 3 years up until I left due to burnout.
I also still have PPE they gave me for occasional use when I left the office to go on site visits that I never returned when I left (Steel toe boots, coveralls, hard hat, safety glasses and high vis vest). I could probably probably count on my hands the number of times used those over the 7 years I was there. A couple of those items are branded but I could probably cover it with some tape should I need to use them again. It's been a year since I left and I still occasionally talk and hang out with some of my former coworkers and even one of the owners. They have no idea.
