apple music windows account problems

every other day the gd app has my account greyed out and nothing will play, the only way to get it to work is to reset the entire app and re sign in. now when i am trying to sign in it wants to verify my account with 2fa but refuses to send me a text or a call, it is the correct phone number and i received a 2fa text from them like a month ago, i do not own any apple hardware of any kind so generating a code from device settings is not an option. if anyone has any solutions please help.

im so done w this f*ing service, it has been a buggy mess for literally a decade but they force you to stay on it by buying exclusivity to artists.
