Sophomore Internship Search

Is being a sophomore for internships really so disadvantageous? I am 100 apps in with 0 oa's so far. I have been applying to internships within hours they come out. I don't even think my resume's bad. Top Canadian school and had a previous internship while being freshman at top 50 company (don't want to be too specific cuz I think its pretty rare-ish). But anyways got rejected by Microsoft and others (even when they didn't require 2028 graduation date), and got insta rejected by Duolingo thrive. Also, I am international but my dumbass (thought I could just use TN but apparently that doesn't work for internships?) put I did not need sponsorship so that should have worked in my favor at least for getting OA. Literally in despair. At least the stock market is green enough today
