Read this whole weird little book on the train today
Found Slow Elephants of Milan on the staff rec shelf, 150 pages so I thought train book. Ended up reading the whole thing between transfers. Argentine guy from the seventies, dream fables. One about a city that vanishes, one with gauchos in prison, one with elephants in fog. None of them explain themselves. I liked that. Felt like someone telling you a dream before it fades. The translation reads smooth. I dog eared three pages. Small book but my head feels full now. Keeping it in my bag to reread the Laar one.
