I've been doing a Master's just for the sake of doing something because I didn't know what else to do. Now I am debating whether to take a leap of faith and a big risk, need some advice. (sorry in advance for the long post)

I recently completed my Bachelor's in Finance and had planned to stay in the city where I finished my degree. I had friends there, my girlfriend, but due to my visa being rejected I was left with looking at what else to do 2 months before completing my studies. It was difficult but I got top marks, which I consider to be more than just an academic miracle.

I am now living back home with my parents and am doing a masters in Finance, digital transformation and sustainability. I am ambitious but also lazy and often without a goal in front of me I will drift and that starts happening when I have nothing in front of me and I internally fight tooth and nail to not want to settle for something, because I have no idea what it is I want to do. Well with this masters I sort of settled for it because I felt I had to get momentum and out of my head. It´s difficult and it takes up a lot of my time but it is interesting. The thing is, I am surrounded by above 25 year olds (I'm 21) who seem to actually want this and however creative I may be, their pure dedication to this field will always win against my random ideas.

I am now thinking, maybe I should look at something I genuinely have interest in, take a leap of faith and dedicate everything to it because it´s my risk and my choice not just doing something because I didn't know what else to do. The country I study in is virtually for free but its limited and old fashioned, so I wouldn't be able to start something unless I do a bachelor, which I do not have the luxury of doing. I can though move to London (British citizen) and get a loan to do a masters in Philosophy. I have good grades so I can probably find a job and spend 1 year suffering doing work and studies and it would be my choice. Yes its not particularly practical for getting work but I think in an age so unpredictable, to learn what in my opinion is our most human skill and how people in the past have developed it (correct me if I am completely wrong) is invaluable. I have always been very interested in it, especially stories where philosophy is questioned in a dark comedy type of way.

I made a leap of faith 3 1/2 years ago, when I decided to split from where I was just to be in the city I did my Bachelor in. It was pure hell at the beginning, I knew no one and was suffering with borderline depression, but I left the city having conquered it in my own way and done what I set out to do. Maybe I am just romanticizing but this could be a similar choice and I could discover this to be a passion which can carry with me for the rest of my life.

I would love some feedback from those who were in a similar position maybe. Or just anyone who has some input, it would be much appreciated
