iPhone disconnects randomly in Trailseeker Premium

I have an iPhone 16 pro max. Whether I have it plugged in, wireless, on the charging pad, whatever, it will disconnect once or twice during the first 30 minutes or so of driving. I have to go to the settings and hit my phone and then use for CarPlay. I haven’t seen any posts about it so I don’t know if this is a me problem or an infotainment issue. Has anyone else seen this or should I contact Apple?
