Feature request for Snowsky Echo: Shortcuts
I think the current Favorites is not really useful especially if you have a large library. My suggestion is to implement a Shortcuts feature. This can be applicable to both Echo Mini and standard Echo.
It should work similar to Genres. But it can work for folders, artists, albums, even genres.
Anytime you're browsing folders, artists, albums, even genres, you can long press the menu button which brings up the menu option: Add to shortcuts.
Each shortcut should write to 1 file to the file system (1 shortcut = 1 file). It can write to the root directory or a data folder. This should make it transferrable and persist even if you re-scan the media library.
On the media library, there should be a Shortcuts menu which will work as like when you're browsing genres. If you click an item, it will just bring you to where it should bring you, just a shortcut.
