It’s no longer my imagination

When I tip more my delivery is always late. I usually tip $5 for every order. I don’t order from anywhere further than 2 miles. Sometimes I am in mood and I up it to ten bucks or 15 bucks. When I do the delivery takes forever and is cold. Why do bigger tips decrease quality of service?
