What demands more creativity: limitations or unlimited possibilities?

Artists have always worked with limitations.

Materials. Skill. Time. Budget. Tools. What could physically be made.

AI art changes that equation.

Suddenly you can explore almost any style, world, composition or idea in seconds.

So I keep wondering whether that gives us more room to be creative, or whether constraints were actually part of what made creativity necessary in the first place.

Maybe the challenge is shifting.

Not from “Can I make this?” to “Out of everything I could make, what is actually worth making?”
