Scotland deanery viable for non-Scottish med students, following prioritisation?
Final year med student here, applying for 2027 F1/2. I really wanted to put Scotland as my top deanery choice, but since I'm not a Scottish med student I'm worried I won't get it, or that I will get it but get given an incredibly rural job that no-one else wanted to be pre-allocated to. Am I being pessimistic in thinking this?
Nothing wrong with rural jobs ofc, but I'm more of a city person, so would like to be within commuting distance to one of the cities.
Is Scotland too risky now? Any thoughts welcomed, thanks :)
