probably a stupid question but how did grace’s computer understand rocky when they talked over eachother? (movie spoiler)

the computer works by listening to rocky and translating it, thats how they speak for like 3/4th of the movie, so how can the computer listen to rocky when grace talks over rocky?

(for example they were both yelling at once in the time go fishing scene)
