Digital camera or new smart phone?

Im debating whether to get a decent digital camera or a new smartphone. I’d mainly use it for photos and filming content, both for personal and for a bit of small scale work. What do you think would be the better option and any recommendations ?

I’m travelling and hiking next month, but also do some vlogging and things 🫶
