Two years engaged today, a little brownie, some chocolates, and each other was enough

Today officially makes two years since we got engaged, which honestly feels a little crazy because I swear it doesn't feel like two years already.

We didn't do anything big for it. We just wanted a small little celebration together, so we got a brownie, sat down together and cut it like it was a tiny wedding cake. Nothing fancy, but it was honestly perfect for us.

My partner surprised me with a ring as a little gift, and I gave them chocolates because apparently that's my love language lol. We spent some time talking about the last two years and laughing about how much has happened since we got engaged.

I'm just really grateful that we're still here, still choosing each other, and still excited about what comes next. It was such a simple evening, but I think I'll remember it for a long time.
