Ok, my girl is an I8 regal. Her last molt was about a month ago. She is very active, and has two hammocks in her current enclosure…one smaller and one very thick.

Her current enclosure is the small one (pictured) I bought from the breeder while I waited for her new one to come in. It should be here this weekend, and I’m very excited! Lots of climbing and hiding options, very cluttered, and should be a great space for her.

Two fears I have:
1. We go on vacation next week and I have someone to watch her. I’m worried that if they over mist her in her current enclosure she will drown, but it’s too small to put a humidity gauge in there. Also, I expected the new enclosure to be here two weeks ago and I’m worried that it her current one dangerously small for her and want her out of it ASAP.
2. I’m similarly worried that if I move her to the new enclosure and she’s close to a molt, she will need to remake her entire hammock. And also if she doesn’t adjust well to the new enclosure, I’m doing it while I’m not there to monitor

So my question is, would it be safer to keep her where she is, or to move her? Regardless of which option, knowing the specifics, is there anything else I can do to keep her safe?

I commented a similar but different question about this upcoming vacation a few days ago. As you can see I’m a nervous spood mom😅

Picture 2 and 3: so you can see her in it
Picture 4: just because she’s beautiful
