Need help for Out of the Blue

I'm trying to make a Stand from an idea I had awhile ago, but I need some help with finding a way to neutralize the acid. I might make the acid weaker, but I still want to find a way for targets to defend against the ability. If any of you have any ideas, please send them over! I appreciate it!

Out of the Blue is a difficult automatic Stand to face against. While it needs a specific trigger for its ability, the trigger coupled with the ability makes for a deadly combination. The user must touch their desired target in order for the Stand to work. Of course, multiple targets can be selected at once.

Overhead Acid Shower

The trigger for Out of the Blue is rather simple: anything directly overhead the target will immediately rain acid from underneath. 

While the exact limits of how high something can be is unknown, the user assumes that the ability will activate so long as it’s within the Earth’s atmosphere. Whether it’s the ceiling several meters above the target, or a plane cruising 10km in the sky above, the target will be showered with acid rain. It doesn’t even have to be a solid object, even a cloud can trigger the ability. Of course, the ability will only apply to whatever is closest overhead. Targets must be very cautious, as even a bird flying past overhead allows the Stand to briefly attack. 

The acid is extremely potent, capable of eating through wood, concrete, and metal with ease. It can also easily burn through skin and bone, meaning that any animal that gets caught in the shower will die a terrible, excruciating death as they melt into nothingness. What’s worse, the target cannot simply just hide under an object to try to avoid the acid, because then the rain will just move to whatever the target is hiding under. 

Of course, the Stand is not without faults. The acid can be easily blown away by wind, making high-altitude attacks incredibly inaccurate. The drops of acid can be taken far, far away from the target, resulting in collateral damage. The ability will not activate if the target is completely underwater.
