What do we know about Hook Global - a new org feeding us Canadian news?

The YouTube algorithm has been feeding us Canadian specific news through “Hook Global.” I haven’t been able to find out much at all about this mysterious group. Google and Bing doesn’t have anything. Even an AI search yields nothing.

I distrust such mysterious sources. On YouTube they’re listed as originating in the U.S. That’s about the extent of it. No owner is named.

Does anyone know about them? Their origins? Even their structure? Are they a legitimate news organization?
