Does liking, watching and commenting on your own video from your own accounts really affect the algorithm?

It's been 3 weeks since I launched my channel and have only a total of 500 views from 6 videos. How long does it take for the algorithm to hit? And does liking and watching your own videos from your own accounts really affect the algorithm? What's the best way to get views if YouTube's algorithm is taking long?
