Unpopular opinion

Am I the only one who deosnt like how Victoria 3 evolved? I used to love this game because of the wild things that happened. Nowadays the game is pretty static because everyone wants to have a historical accurate depiction of the world.

Why?

The alternate history used to be the best thing if the game and now it isnt happening anymore. Every game is the same.

Also why can you play as all these small nations when you cant do anything with them.

They are unplayable for real.

I miss the good old times where you could play as every country and make every country a great power. Now its impossible.

I'm thinking about quitting this game.

Dont get me wrong. You dont have to force everyone to play alt history but atleast include a switch or something where you can play alt history that was literally the reason why I started with Victoria 3 and thats why I liked CK3 before they made it into a borng ass Role-Playing-Game.

Yes I could play older versions but the new patches have so much cool features that I miss in the older versions.
