19F ace woman looking for young queer social spaces around Baltimore/DC (USA)
I'm 19F, asexual/alloromantic, and attracted to guys and masc-presenting people. I'm primarily looking to meet someone I could potentially have a romantic relationship with.
I want a social environment where I can actually meet people repeatedly and get to know them, rather than a one-time event or online only community.
Ideally:
18–25 years old
Broadly queer and ace-friendly
Specifically somewhere I could potentially meet an ace man/masc person for a romantic relationship
Sober / not centered around alcohol or drugs
Not focused on sex or hookups
Recurring, rather than one-time events
Has some kind of activity or structure, so there's a natural reason to keep seeing the same people
More quieter setting like a library, community center, café rather than a loud nightlife type event
Anime/manga, books, or other "nerdy" interests would be a big plus (not D&D)

I've already looked into Asexuals and Aromantics of the Mid-Atlantic, but it seems significantly older than what I'm looking for.
I've also tried AceSpace, but I've realized that meeting people online isn't as effective for me as meeting people in person. I tend to make friends much more easily face-to-face.
My university has a Pride group that I'm considering, but I'm pretty intimidated by the idea of walking into a small established group where most people already know each other.
If you know of specific Baltimore/DC groups, recurring events, anime/nerdy meetups, library programs, cafés, or similar queer-friendly spaces that might fit, I'd really appreciate it.
I know this is a pretty specific combination.. 😭
