Transporting heavy duty scooter

First post, obligatory "if I accidentally break a rule, please let me know."

I am looking into a mobility scooter for myself. I currently have a couple of conditions that mean a long day of walking, especially without immediate seating available, is somewhere between exhausting and painful. I can get around short distances just fine most days.

My first issue is that I will likely need to get a "heavy duty" scooter, because (1) I weigh about 350 pounds, and (2) my use case for this would be mostly things like outdoor festivals.

My second issue would be getting said scooter from my house to said festivals. I am fortunate enough to have a house big enough that we could find space for the scooter to live, but both of our vehicles are midsize sedans not suited for transporting anything bigger than a folding transport chair.

I'm not sure if my best bet is trying to get a trailer setup for one of the sedans, or renting a larger vehicle when I do need to use the scooter, or some third option.
