What areas to look in for a reasonable commute?

Trying to find a 1-bed for around $2,200 in areas with a 30-ish minute commute to Malcolm X and the Loop? Wondering if anyone has something coming up for a move-in date of 10/23-10/31 or just some general recommendations of areas to look in? New to Chicago so any help is appreciated!

Would prefer in-unit laundry and AC but let me know if that is realistic.
