BookOrbit...and KoReader. What can that really do??

Okay, I am very confused and frustrated right now.

I have been sitting here for hours setting up BookOrbit because I thought it could communicate with my KOReader and sync what I have read and when I read it. I want to have this information available on my PC.

The AI told me that yes, this tool can do that: it scans my library and then syncs everything. After many problems and a lot of trial and error, discussing everything with the AI (because Docker and things like that are not something I know or understand), I finally have both of them running.

But BookOrbit on my Bigme, in KOReader, says that I only have 7 books. And the statistics are not correct either. The book that BookOrbit says I am currently reading is a book I own, but I haven't read it or even opened it in the last year — or maybe ever.

I can't scan my library. There isn't even a button for that.

And now, after spending all these hours with the AI, where it kept telling me that once everything was working, I would be able to see everything and have my old reading statistics on my PC, it is now telling me that BookOrbit can never scan my reader.

Apparently, BookOrbit is a completely closed system by itself and cannot see what books I have on my reader or what I have already read. It can only do that if I download all my books again and read them through BookOrbit from now on.

So basically, I have spent all these hours setting this up for nothing. 😭

The BookOrbit Plugin in my KoReader havent any of these buttons or functions ..

Please....could someone that REALLY knows what exactly can BookOrbit do and do not explain it to me? And maybe a German... ;) The AI was much frustrating..."it can do that click here, after wo solve this problem make these an all is fine blabla, never have found these functions...) and than in the end it say me oh no it can do nothing from what you want and all was for nothing
