AI simulation training

My son works in the paint department and brought up to me his new assigned training today. He is to sit down on a recorded call with both a microphone and camera while trying to sell paint to an AI. This sounds absurd to me. I assume it is to help his sales, but also train using his likeness. I suggested he opt out and claim religious reasons but it seems they are making it a requirement for him to do.

How do you all feel about this? We are a very anti AI household and I feel this is against his rights to just give his own likeness and data away just to train selling paint.
