Dorans Bow x Blade

Hello! I am a really new player to League (3 month-ish) who grew to really love playing Jinx.

One question I had for more experienced players is for which type of matchup I should pick the blade over the bow.

I am currently using the blade against champs like Caitlyn, where a longer trade will (probably) benefit them over me.

I favoured the bow over trades where a longer fight will benefit me more, like fighting Jhin.
