If your issue is soft palate/lower tongue related (but you are NOT a mouth breather), will a nasal pillow work, or will you need a full mask?
Even with mouth closed, the “snoring” my spouse experiences is definitely coming from the throat, not nasal. Even on his side, he’s snoring now, when side sleeping used to help open the airway.
Next step is CPAP but wondering if he could start with the nasal pillow? Would the forced air make it through from just the nasal passages if the soft palate and tongue is what’s restricting the airway?
