A4 B9 - upgrading the rear lights

Has anyone here upgraded the rear lights from halogen to dynamic/LED on the A4 B9? Pretty desperate to do this, I have a set of rear LEDs in hand, just unsure if this is something I can do myself if I buy a harness from aliexpress.
