Budapest in mid-November (Nov 17-21)? Looking for advice on weather vs. experience

Hi everyone! I am currently looking at flight options for a short getaway from November 17th to the 21st, and Budapest is high on my list.

However, I've never visited Central Europe this late in the year, and I'm a bit concerned about the weather. Is it genuinely too freezing or miserable to enjoy walking around and exploring comfortably, or is it manageable with proper winter gear?

For those who have been there around mid-November: does it feel dead/uncampable, or does the city still have a great atmosphere (like early Christmas markets starting)? Any honest experiences or tips would be greatly appreciated before I pull the trigger on booking!
