Live music disappointment - Modest Mouse

I’d been a casual fan of the band in the early ‘00s and had the chance to see them live this past weekend in Orlando. I’m old and have been to hundreds of shows, off all genres, from kiddos in their garage to mega pop stars and this show was the most underwhelming with the worst vibes I’ve ever been to! I was so surprised.

I chalked some of it up to being at House of Blues, which is a truly terrible venue, but the more people I talk to it seems like this is par for the course with Isaac and co. Shame that this changed the way I see them and I probably won’t listen to their stuff as often as I had in the past.
