Storyline and lore aside for a moment... Out of all the news from Kyougoh Kim's letter, one thing kinda stuck out for me. Usually when we get a new cookie it's a stellar, meta cookie for at least the entire season, like, people who get it early will crush in PvP until it becomes more common, PvE will be much easier (in some cases they're a must to make it even possible on Hard!).

But BSC, as with most of the Beasts/Ancients, has fallen out of meta a while ago. When I started the game last September he was my first Beast and my lynch pin for sweeping Crispia and most of Beast-Yeast. He was on every team. Now? I never use or see him unless I have to build a Fire-specific team and am allowed to use him. He just feels... worn and not useful.

So if we get this shiny, brand new Rajapendra and he's on the same level as BSC... Will he be immediately useless? Will people get him and immediately mothball him to sit with BSC in reserves for very specific events? That would be sad. And if not... if he is the next Time Shadow Cookie and uber powerful, then he's not exactly "at BSC's level"... I don't think both things can be true at the same time.

Also, do you think they'll do this with each of the Beasts? Do you think that one, "kind" Shadow Milk Cookie that Timekeeper had a chat with will be coming as a playable as Fount of Knowledge or Sage of Truth? (that sounds crazy when I say it out loud, but)

Are we really getting a useless cookie in the next season?
