Different contact prescription same outcome?

How is it that i can wear 2 different kind of prescription contacts (-1.75 vs -2.25 CYL) and there is no difference, now im super confused cause my prescription is somewhere around -2 to -2.25 but i wear -1.75 and when i tried -2.25 it was exactly the same.

In both cases the vision is clear and feels the same, i did get slight eyestrain with -2.25 but i always do even with new glasses when im adjusting to them but there is no noticeable difference between the two should i just keep wearing -1.75 CYL contacts? i tried -2.25 cause i felt like maybe i was missing out or maybe the vision can get "even more clear" than it is now.

I thought -0.5 difference in cylinder would have atleast some difference.
