Eufy Omni C28: Base station vacuum motor won’t turn on at all during auto-empty (dirty water suction works fine)

Hi everyone,

I bought an eufy Robot Vacuum Omni C28 about two months ago, and I’m having an issue with the base station.

When triggering the auto-empty cycle (either automatically or manually via the app), the base station’s vacuum suction motor does not turn on or make any sound at all.

Here are the details and what I’ve checked so far:

Dirty water suction works completely fine, and the mop washing cycle runs with no issues.

Dust bag sensor is working: If I trigger auto-empty without a bag, the app/station alerts me that there is no bag installed. Once installed, the alert goes away.

The robot docks properly and shows charging status.

Air path and cleaning tray have been inspected and are clean.

Has anyone with the C28 (or similar eufy Omni stations) experienced this? Any idea what could be causing it before I send it in for a warranty replacement?

Thanks!
