Flashing red light

Hello, yesterday evening my mum's dog chewed through both the ethernet cable and the power cable going into the openreach box on the wall, I have replaced both the plug and the cable, but the red light continues to flash and I have tried factory resetting and leaving the router off for a while before switching it back on again.
