Unlike Shwabb, Fidelity restricts ODTE, which is a good thing.

For the past 5 years, I have been trading options and about 85% of my losses come from ODTE. It got so bad on Robinhood I had to ban myself for a year and they obliged. Then i moved to trading on Shwabb and over the last two years have lost thousands from odte. Now this is 100% all my fault for not having the self control to stay away from Odte but try as I may, I fall for it all the time, especially if I am having a good run. Iv called shwabb several times asking if they can restrict me from odte and just keep weeklies and monthly's. They refuse to do so, and they even have a drop down menu that could support restricting odte. I called and suggested it but they keep telling me they wont restrict any kind of trading if your approved for options. I get it but it should be feature you call in and get approved for. Anyway this is just a FYI post for people who want to trade options but need a way to stay away from odte.
