AIO about my husband’s song choice
Background: My (44f) husband (40m) has a female friend he met through online gaming. In the past two months, I found out he has sent her money twice, he has made flirtatious comments on her live stream chats (complimenting her hair at least twice and saying her face is sexy), and texts with her nearly every day (including sending her TikTok videos with sexual innuendos). I have told him I don’t like this and that it seems like he is emotionally cheating on me or at least making it seem like she is more important than me (for instance, he stayed up until 1 in the morning gaming with her on my birthday instead of coming to bed with me). He blames my reaction on being insecure (I know that I am) and says that she is just a friend. He has also changed his story about when then met online and whether or not they had met in person (he maintains that he hasn’t).
A couple of days ago, my husband was doing a live stream and said I could watch, so I started watching/listening. About 5 minutes after I started listening, he said he had a song for this female friend and proceeded to play a sexually explicit song for her (“Motivation” by Kelly Rowland ft Lil Wayne). When I confronted him after the stream, he said the fact that it was sexual had nothing to do with why he played it. He said she likes the artist (Lil Wayne) and that was the only song by that artist on his playlist. It was also one of his friend’s favorite songs. I asked him what my favorite song is. He listed three songs that wouldn’t even be on my top ten list.
AIO about him ‘dedicating’ a sexually explicit song to his female friend during his live stream?
