Myoclonic jerks vs myoclonic seizures

Can some one explain me how to tell them apart ?

I always get the same singel jerk in both thighs and my pelvic area. Its always the same three mucles and it happens maybe 2/3 times a week. I never put much thought into it but now I‘m not sure anymore.
