Thank you for your help!

I’m a white girl from Poland. In August, I went on a week-long trip to Las Vegas—I was supposed to go with my Black friend, but as luck would have it, she had family matters to attend to, so I ended up going with someone I’d just met.

And I was really surprised that it was Black people who were the most helpful to me:

- I got lost: a very kind Black man helped me by walking me almost all the way to the building so I wouldn’t get lost.

- I tripped on the steps and broke my heel: a Black girl helped me, asking if I’d broken anything, and helped me get to the nearest shoe store.

I haven’t encountered this kind of kindness from white people, so I’d really like to thank you. ❤️
