Player asking to leave

So guys, has anyone found a solution to the players asking to leave bug?
I have a career with Everton and already have a thin squad, obviously dont have europe and I have players asking to leave after every match im afraid at this rate i have to forfeit matches after january or put the youth out to play.

This is insane for a full priced game btw. Love the gameplay this year but what is gameplay without being able to play with the players you own.
I have a summer signing who already put in a transfer request in December…..
