This rap song is based on substance abuse, but guess what I haven’t done any alcohol, cigarettes or any drugs.

One fellow Redditor asked me to prepare a rap song for some school purpose some 3-4 years ago (I had a different account that time which I deleted later) after he made a post like help me with this blah blah
And I helped him

He said me to refer songs like gangster’s paradise and some more, and thus the last line of it i took from gangster’s paradise. And tried to be in that tone.

I found this in gallery and i feel so proud!

I am on a different path, no time for that mess
Now I am gonna stay clean & focused I'm strivin for success.
As I walk through the dark dull past memories,
I realize I was so much in great difficulties.
No one was there who took care of me
Because of my crankiness as I wanna be free.
Shouted, beated and cursed everyone around
Humanity? That was something to which I wasn't bound.
(Main) ➔ Value your life, rise above the strife
Love yourself embrace each day & night.
I was blind didn't understand that time
As there was a dark cloth around my eyes.
Cutted connections with everyone
My friends, my homies all thinking I am a demon
Someone please help me, life's going nowhere
Please grab my hand, wanna breath some air.
A force keeps pulling me back to the haze,
Temptation gets me locked in this endless craze.
(Main) ➔ Value your life, rise above the strife
Love yourself embrace each day & night.
I was blind didn't understand that time
As there was a dark cloth around my eyes.
I am pleading for redemption, a chance to break free
But the smoke is everywhere, won't let me be.
Still I will fight, I will break free the chain
won't let myself trip again, I'm gonna refrain (OH!)
Love for my life, love for my kin
They are motivation, my reason to win.
I am trapped in a battle, but will break myself free
Yearning for recovery though its a distant plea.
Why are we so blind to see that the ones we hurt,
are you & me!

There is a story behind this rap song…
