I can't get any epic proportions modpack to work!!!!

I've used so many modpacks and downloaded many, downloaded curseforge for two modpacks which only one worked but it had A LOT of missing textures. I don't know know what else to do, I even tried technic launcher but when I pressed play it didn't work.

The issue for the others is that minecraft does load but when i create a world after finishing generation it says shutting down internal server then takes me to the multiplayer screen. I don't get it is there not a proper way to play it??
