Need to BBQ

I live on the top floor, with only a 35" square wood landing at top of stairs (which is not shared), no deck, etc. There is a short, wood slated railing, and the door swings in.

I really want (ideally a smoker combo) a small bbq. Also probably need a (metal) shelf or table for this small space. Please share your bbq models and ideas, thoughts, tricks (and brands) how I could set up a shelf/table to support as well as being fire safe. Usually feed two. Starting from scratch. Missing my smoked treats! Thx!
