Doorbell camera with dry contact for chime?
I currently have a Ring Wired Doorbell camera. It uses Wifi for data, and the doorbell wiring for power.
I want to replace it with a doorbell camera that uses PoE for power and data, but it to still have a dry contact switch to activate the chime (so that part will still work if data or power is lost on the PoE connection.)
I know about the option of opening the case on a PoE doorbell camera and affixing the doorbell wires to the switch in such a way that pushing the button causes the wires to come into contact, but before I go that route I'm hoping that someone already makes what I'm looking for.
I'm in the Ubiquiti ecosystem (UDM SE and two P7 Pro APs), if that comes into play. I'm currently in the SmartThings ecosystem, but I'm in the early stages of planning a migration to Home Assistant.
