Stormlance Task Force: A match made in heaven

Been theory crafting using tabletopbattles' articles, and how to get the recon disposition on shadowmark talon. We have two options: Stormlance, and Gauntlet.

Gauntlet Task Force isn't super thematic but it COULD be solid, especially with a nice squad of sternguard or hellblasters, but it's not super ravenguardy. We also have access to the best uppy downy in the codex, so we don't need to rely on transports that much.

Stormlance isn't that much more thematic, but storm speeder are some of the last remaining aerial units, so they fit the strike from above theme pretty solidly. One of the serious struggles ravenguard have is anti tank, so detachment that helps is always welcome.

I prefer doubles since i like symmetry, but there's a solid synergy between the stormspeeder hailstrike and the thunderstrike. strip cover and chaff clear from the hailstrike, and decent +1 to wound for the thunderstrike. Bringing two gives more consistent kills of a larger tank unit, as well as deleting chaff or smaller infantry squads, and a 16" move with devastator doctrine for assault means an average movement of 20", reliably getting angles on hard targets t1. All for an even 500 points according to the leaked points.

Clear the big stuff t1 if possible, or severely weaken it, then switch to assault for a t2-t3 charge with melee, then reliably score with uppy downy if you've successfully cleared out a solid chunk of the enemy threat.

What other combos have y'all been thinking about? I'm a little worried about buying 4 stormspeeders, but getting 2 and using my 2 land speeders from armageddon is a pretty solid idea.
