Want to become a Nurse Midwife

I am 27, wife, & mom of 2.

I am now ready to live out my all time dream of becoming a nurse midwife. I want all and any guidance, recommendations, experiences, etc.

Is it worth it? Work/life balance? Pay? Recommendations/regrets?
