Should I give up on my dream course?...

Problem/Goal: I want to know if I should give up on my dream course, BA Psychology, and I’m looking for alternative university recommendations around Manila or Pasig that offer this specific program (strictly BA, not BS).

Context: I am currently a Grade 11 student and I feel like I’m already slowly giving up. I know UP Diliman offers it, but I keep doubting if I even have what it takes na pumasa sa UPCAT at makapasok doon.The pressure is really getting to me lately because everyone on my mom’s side of the family is full of overachievers and super smart people. In fact, kagagraduate lang ng tita ko sa PUP kanina, which is amazing 😁. But it’s just so pressuring kasi ang gagaling nila, tapos ako ewan, hahahaha. It honestly feels a bit embarrassing sometimes. I try my best not to compare myself, pero mostly yung mga cousins ko talaga matatalino—the type who can easily get into any university na gustuhin nila. It just makes me feel so sad and down. My self-talk is already so negative, and honestly, I feel like medyo bobo ako and not smart enough. I’m always thinking how my future is gonna turn out, and sa totoo lang, it’s honestly so scary.

Previous Attempts: I’ve been trying to search for back-up universities online, but it’s so hard to find options since BS Psychology is way more common here. Any advice, words of encouragement, or university recommendations would mean the world to me right now. Thank you, everyone 🥹
