So Alexa is mandatory now?

Like the title suggests, I haven't found any way to turn off Alexa on the amazon shopping app. Every time I search for something, it forces it's Ai slop on me with things that have either nothing to do with what I want, or are the *MOST EXPENSIVE* options. Is there any way to turn this shit off?
